Who are we?
As You Like It is a full-service Aveda salon and spa that was established in 1994. The talented artists that comprise our staff are skilled professionals who regularly attend seminars and classes, ensuring the most current and innovative styles for our clients. Our outstanding level of experience in hair color, haircut and design, along with an exceptional level of customer service, has resulted in As You Like It being voted as the Finest on the Emerald Coast in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2017.
At As You Like It we have assembled an elite team of artistic stylists, estheticians and massage therapists with a shared objective—creating a relaxed, comfortable environment that allows our clients an escape from the tension and stress of day-to-day events.
As You Like It uses Aveda hair and skin care products exclusively. Aveda is committed to environmental leadership and responsibility and the use of eco-friendly products. The owners and team members of As You Like It, one of the best salons in the Ft. Walton Beach area, have also adopted this discipline and have been Aveda Earth Month champions for the past 11 years.
OUR ORIGINS:
In 1997 Jen Perlman and Brenda Caraballo committed to keeping the tradition of excellent customer care and a passion for Aveda alive when they found out that As You Like It Salon might be closing. Although they were both in their early 20’s, they decided to give it their all. Twenty-three years later, they continue to follow that vision and provide an environment of relaxation for their guests and growth opportunity for their team. Their passion for the beauty industry and for Aveda is the foundation for everything that As You Like It is and will always be.
Our Mission:
To provide a comfortable, peaceful and professional environment for persons to go to attain and maintain their ultimate potential.
Reservations:
Appointments are required for salon and spa services, but walk-ins are also welcome, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Cancellation Policy:
The services you’ve selected are reserved especially for you with one of our professionals. A 24-hour cancellation notice is kindly requested to avoid any charges. Cancellations of less than 24 hours will be charged 50% of the service booked. No-shows will be charged 100% of the services booked.
Guarantee:
At As You Like It, our professional team strives to provide a relaxing experience and to meet your expectations. If you are not completely satisfied with the service you received, please contact us within seven days of your service to reschedule. We will do our best to satisfy your needs.
Gift Certificates:
An As You Like It salon Gift Certificate is a wonderful way to share the ultimate experience of beauty and rejuvenation with someone special. They are available for all packages, individual services, or any dollar amount.
Gratuity:
The price of your treatment does not include gratuity. If your experience was exceptional, it is customary to tip your service provider 18-20%.
Payment:
For your convenience we accept all major credit cards and Florida checks.
Etiquette:
Part of our mission at As You Like It Salon & Spa is to provide our guests with a place of relaxation. Out of respect to our guests and service providers we ask that you silence your cell phone and tablets while inside and/or use headphones as well as not conduct conversations on speaker phone.
We love children, however, if your child is not scheduled for an appointment the day of your visit and it is necessary for them to join you during your services we ask that you attend to them at all times and that if they are using any sort of electronic that it is either on silent or you provide headphones for them.
